South Africa made short work of Pakistan on the fourth day of their third test to complete a whitewash 3-0 win in the series.
Resuming on 153 for three the tourists were dismissed just after midday in Johannesburg having lost seven wickets for 120 runs to lose by 107 runs.
Asad Shafiq tried to take the game to the hosts but when he fell to Vernon Philander for a brisk 65, the hosts wrapped up the innings ruthlessly.
Duanne Olivier and Kagisa Rabada did most of the damage, finishing with figures of 3-74 and 3-75 respectively, with Shadab Khan striking some late runs in vain, ending unbeaten on 47 as he ran out of partners.
The win was an important one for the hosts as it helped them climb the ICC rankings.
The Proteas have now moved ahead of both England and New Zealand into second in the standings behind India, while Pakistan have slipped to seventh with the loss.
